More Summer Camp

CLOVERLEAF RANCH CAMP is confident your child will leave with memories that will last a lifetime. We offer both Resident and Day Camp Programs and we welcome a visit by parents and children prior to camp so we may show you our facilities and better acquaint you with ourselves and our program. At Cloverleaf, our objective is to give your child the attention he or she deserves.

Resident Camp Program

Supervision
Constant supervision is provided by a high quality staff, many of whom at one time were Cloverleaf campers themselves!  In general, activities staff to camper ratios are:-

                6-8     yr olds  1-6  

                9-14 yr olds  1-8                   15-18  yr olds  1-10

Camp Enrollment is Limited
Please make your application at the earliest possible convenience. Dates and rates are posted in the site here. There will be no refunds for absences, withdrawals or dismissals.

Health History

This form is completed every year. (physician signature not required)

Examination Form is required from each child, signed by your family physician. A physician's camp checkup is required every two years for the health and safety of all who attend.

 

Transportation
The closest airport to Cloverleaf is Sonoma County Airport , only 5 minutes from camp. The next closest would be San Francisco International Airport.  If you have any special needs, please contact the Camp Office

Check-In & Check-Out
Check in time is from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Sunday; check out is on Saturday, 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Communication
Mail call is a special time at camp. We encourage campers and their families to communicate via the mail. Phone calls both to and from campers are limited to emergency only.

Day Camp Program

The goal of Cloverleaf Ranch Day Camp is to give our campers a busy, fun filled, safe experience with a variety of exciting activities. An optional OVERNIGHT held once a week, including dinner and breakfast, gives Day Campers the opportunity to experience a night away from home in a setting similar to our Resident Camp Program. See our Dates & Rates page. Day campers will get one lesson and one trail ride per week. Those interested in more riding time should consider our resident camp program.

Supervision
Our campers are placed into age/grade groups with counselors who are carefully selected to work with and provide appropriate activities for the age group. Supervision is provided by a high caliber staff, many of whom were Cloverleaf Ranch campers themselves.  In general, activities staff to camper ratios are:-

          4-5   yr olds   1-6                        6-8     yr olds    1-8

          9-14 yr olds   1-10                      15-18  yr olds    1-12

Nature & The Old Pond
The pond, miles of hiking trails, creek gorges and a large variety of plant and animal life, give campers the opportunity to learn about nature. With certified lifeguards and careful planning, the lake has become one of the most popular activity areas, which includes fishing, swimming, rope swing, kayaking, water carnivals, etc.

Certified Instructors
Current certified instructors offer a Junior Olympic Archery Development Program, a Junior Olympic Air Rifle Program (for ages 8 years and up), and an American Red Cross Aquatic Program.

Games, Sports & Crafts
Many of the games available to our Day Campers are: ping pong, badminton, frisbee golf, horse shoes, juggling, new games, group games, ropes course (some restrictions apply). Although we do not encourage competitiveness; volleyball, softball, basketball, soccer are very popular and help develop sportsmanship, fair play and group building. Our crafts program is limited only by a camper’s imagination. Nature crafts are encouraged, but also offered are lanyard, tie dyeing, painting, drawing, mask making, face painting, etc.

Horseback Riding & Farm Animals
Our beautiful Ranch offers something many other day camps unfortunately cannot. Being a working ranch, we have our own horses and other farm animals for our campers to enjoy Riding instruction is given once a week in the arena and campers will also go on a trail ride. (Riding classes restricted to 7 years old and up - a lead line lesson is available for 6 year olds).

Please make your application at the earliest possible convenience. Fees and dates are with the enclosed application. There will be no refunds for absences, withdrawals or dismissals. Please complete your camper’s medical history on the back of the application.

We welcome a visit by parents and children prior to camp so me may show you our facilities and better acquaint you with ourselves and our program. If you plan a visit, please telephone us in advance so that we can schedule a tour. Our OPEN HOUSE in the spring is the perfect time to bring your family to visit camp. Camp tours after the commencement of camp are offered only on orientation days.
