OUR LEGACY

For nearly half a century, Cloverleaf Ranch has provided a healthy, wholesome and fun vacation for children. Originally a boys working ranch, Cloverleaf has become a "home away from home" for thousands of children and adults from all over the world. Born in 1947, our ranch was built (board by board) by my Dad, Larry Armstrong and created by my Mom, Grace Armstrong.

Mom and Dad began their first summer with three boys. Each year this number grew as the boys went home and told of their great time working on the ranch. I love my memories of growing up at camp. Taking part in cookouts, overnights, riding horses in the hills and sun bathing by the pond.

In the 1960's, I became a counselor and enjoyed sharing my love of this ranch. I also met my husband, Ron, when he was a counselor and the Head Wrangler.

As tradition would have it, in 1974 Ron and I took over the reins and followed in my parents' footsteps directing Cloverleaf Ranch. Our children, Tye and Shawna, are having a wonderful experience of growing up in a ranch and camp environment.

My Mom and Dad made a promise to parents to provide a safe, fun place to enjoy a vacation of a lifetime. We continue that commitment to this day and truly believe your children will have a summer they will never forget.
