How Much Does My Child Ride?

CLASSIC DAY CAMP

Campers 7 & up will receive one group riding lesson per week. One trail ride per week is available to those campers who exhibit adequate control of their horse during their lesson. This is for the safety of the rider and is up to the discretion or the riding instructors. Any camper (7 & up) may sign up for the horse show; but due to rider safety the ultimate discretion is up to the riding instructors.

Campers who are 6 years old or younger participate in 1 lead line lesson per week. Additional rides may be purchased for all ages at $25 per ride.

EQUESTRIAN DAY CAMP

NOTE: We strive for campers participating in the Equestrian Program to ride at least one time a day but riding time varies due to enrollment. Equestrian campers spend more time in the barn area, caring for our horses and learning about them in our horse education classes. Our goal is to offer a holistic horse program where campers can learn about all aspects of horsemanship.

Campers 7 & up will receive at least two riding lessons per week and one trail ride (for their safety, only campers who exhibit adequate control of their horse will be permitted on the trails).

Campers who are 6 years old or younger participate in at least three lead line style lessons. Campers this age do not go out on the trail.

Any camper (7 & up) may sign up for the horse show; but for safety participation approval is ultimately at the discretion of our riding instructors.

RANCH ADVENTURE DAY CAMP

This program focuses on activities other than our riding program. They are fun, educational programs but do not include any horseback riding activities. Please see our camp activity list and program descriptions for more information on these fun filled Day Camp Programs.

Ranch Adventure Campers can add a ride for $40.
