Riding FAQs

One of the most common questions we get from parents is, “How often does my child get to ride?” While we do have an award-winning horse program, we offer over 25 great camp activities. Our overall goal in programming is to offer children the type of program that will specifically meet their goals while communicating clearly with parents the differences of each program. The following information will help guide you through the various horse activities in each of our programs. If you have any questions, Cloverleaf Ranch is more than happy to help… we want your child’s experience to be the best!

Resident campers are provided with the option of participating in Saddle Club in the early morning before breakfast. This is a time where campers are able to brush the horses and get them ready for the day, as well as learn more about the horses. Since Resident campers create their own schedule, they are able to sign up for as many group lessons and afternoon trail rides (must be 7 and up to participate on trail rides) as time and space permits. Some campers choose to ride everyday, while others choose to ride only once or twice a week.
